Foggy beach interlude

I have recently spent a week in Brittany, where the weather is very... changing!

However when you're a photographer, you tend to appreciate moody weather, storms, pouring rain (...) for the great value they bring to your photos: depth and texture.

I think it's the first time I have seen so much fog over the ocean. It made for an interesting walk and photo session.
You'll find below a selection of my favourite shots, all made with my 5D Mark II and a 24-105mm f/4L lens.

I couldn't resist using Black & White for the first two pictures, as I felt it conveyed the mood of that day better:

Because of the foggy atmosphere I processed the other pictures with soft tones, although I ended up choosing a crispy rendering for most of them.

On another day, I stayed until night time and grabbed a shot of the moon shining above an old WW2 bunker. A perfect one to end this post!
